'HeadLandFoyerCommons' began with a simple dream: to bring true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Smith family in 1985, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run spot with recipes passed down through generations.
Oliver Smith, our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making while traveling across Italy, studying under master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. After returning to the UK, she set out to recreate the magic of authentic Italian pizza, using traditional methods and top-quality ingredients.
What began as a modest 12-seat pizzeria has evolved into a cherished local institution, yet our dedication to quality and authenticity remains unwavering. We still rely on wood-fired oven techniques, prepare our dough fresh daily, and source only the finest ingredients available.
Today, 'HeadLandFoyerCommons' remains family-owned and operated, with the second generation of the Smith family now leading our enthusiastic team. While we've adopted some modern innovations, the core of our business stays the same: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
